  1. Say Goodbye to your Comfort-zone:

If you really want to enjoy life and learn new things you got to get out there and explore things. To be honest with you, it will be discomforting most of the times, but that’s the beauty about life, you learn new things every time you are in a situation that’s foreign, you always come out of it as a better person or just someone who has learned something new. My advice is pack your bags and book your tickets, don’t worry about hotels or food. From my experience I don’t think there will ever be a day that you have to sleep on the road. So get out and challenge your comfort-zone.

  2. Exposure and Education:

You get to learn about the place, its culture and history which is so mesmerizing. You even get to try different cuisines (we love food, after all who doesn’t?). To add to it, the next time round when you catch up with friends or family you’ll have another story to share.

    • Bonus  – You become a keen learner and curious traveler. I believe that practical learning is the best form of learning and its even better if you are learning on the move.

  3. Excitement:

Be it mountain hiking, deep-sea diving or trying out a vegetarian Thai Curry-Rice or crab appetizer, the thrill and excitement that you experience is priceless.

    • Bonus – You become less fearful to try new things or visit new places
  4. Learn a new Language:

You’ll how to say ‘Hello’, ‘Thank you’ or ‘How are you?’ in French, Thai or another language. None of which you knew a few days back.

    • Bonus – Makes you happy and gives you a sense of achievement! 🙂
  5. BONUS- Building Relationships:

Like us, you will end up making some lovely new friends along the way, with whom you’d want to plan your next vacation. Additionally, you’ll connect more with the ones traveling with you, whether they are friends, family or loved ones.

To kick-start your travel adventures you can refer to the Lonely Planet Pocket Guides , they are even handy to carry while traveling and have personally helped us kick-start our journey.

So what are you waiting for?? Start packing your bags!! Travel to change your life for the better … FOREVER!

Travelling has changed my life a lot. I decided to quit my job and travel the world even more than I was doing, it made me find my dream job (as a tourist guide) and find my husband. So for me travelling has been very important 🙂

I don’t really travel a lot. But when I do, I always make it memorable. Also, traveling alone is not a big deal to me, But hope to find someone to travel with.

When traveling, we experience and learn in every way not only the place you’re visiting but also the environment. Then we absorb the good things and try to apply them to our lives somehow.
